Our Team

Vikas Jhunjhunwala

Founder & CEO

Vikas has 30 years of experience working across the world in strategy consulting/technology (Monitor Group), and microfinance (Unitus and other startups). He has a degree in Economics and Computer Science from Middlebury College, USA.

Vikas is passionate about reforming the sector and getting like-minded people to start schools so that high quality education can be delivered to many more children in India.

Khushboo Pahal

Co-Founder & COO

Khushboo has 11 years of experience in education including as a Teach for India fellow. She is MA (Education), Advanced Diploma in French, MPA, BA (IRPM) from Delhi University

Khushboo is the calm and creative energy behind Sunshine Schools ensuring that we keep moving forward as a team, and have fun at the same time.

Rahul Ranjan
Co-Founder & Trustee

Rahul has 16 years of experience in education working for K-12 school chain (GEMS), pre-school chain (Klay), and Teach for India Fellow. Currently building BriBooks, an AI-powered global platform for kids to write & publish their stories. He has done his Executive MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a Gold Medalist from NIT Bhopal.

Rahul is passionate about giving back to low income children similar to the ones he taught as a Teach for India fellow in Mumbai many years ago.

Our Advisory Board

Rohit Baha dur

Rohit Bahadur is a BCom Hons graduate from SRCC, Delhi University, Chartered Accountant and CPA.

Rohit has had a career covering business development, incubation of start-ups, risk advisory, audit and development sector advisory. He was one of the founding partners of the risk advisory practice and subsequently set up the Not for Profit and CSR Advisory vertical as a separate business unit within Grant Thornton India over a decade ago. He is currently a freelance consultant and has set up a capacity building service offering for NGO’s, Foundations and Philanthropic collectives.

Rohit has been a speaker at various panel discussions and seminars, written articles on the impact and trends of CSR, involved in several market studies, has conducted workshops on NGO Board Ethics, been part of Grant Thornton’s Global Not For Profit group, on the board of advisors of several and supports and mentors NGOs focusing on children & youth.

Parminder Devsi

Parminder Devsi is a passionate entrepreneur who did his Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi. He has led successful companies in the Unmanned Aviation sector.

He comes from a humble family and dreams of a world where all kids have an opportunity to make a better future.
